Iron Man star Robery Downey Jr. released the trailer on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Sunday night after Oscars. The trailer gives a better look at both a new villain and Tony’s latest high-tech armor.

This also gives us a better look at Ivan Vanko aka “Whiplash” (Mickey Rourke), working on his own arc reactor and builds his own mechanized weapon that will slice Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) F-1 racer in two.

Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell), a villainous weapons manufacturer, recruits Vanko to destroy Tony Stark. He wants to build an army of fully robotic warriors that will make Iron Man look like an antique.

One of the highlights in the trailer is the team up of Tony and his old friend James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle) to take on Hammer’s bots (that can fly too) and attack on all sides. The coolest thing that you will see on the trailer is when Tony deploys his metallic briefcase and transforms around Tony until he is completely encased in a red-and-silver version of the Iron Man armor.

You’ll see more of Tony Stark’s technological toys and his enemies in the movie “Iron Man 2″ that will be shown on May 7.
