Most people advice you to eat less and do more exercise in order to lose weight but we all know that putting it into practice is so hard.
Sometimes, when you cut the calories intake, you start to starve and when you exercise for a few hours, you might want to eat more right after. Is there something you can do?
Luckily, there are few tricks that could help you to lose weight without being guilty and they are the following:
- Don’t eat too much when it’s almost bedtime. Taking in sweet and high-fat foods like ice cream before going to bed could decrease calorie calorie burning and increase fat storage while your are sleeping.
- Before you start your meal, eat hot soup first. This will help you to eat less because you can’t eat hot soups fast but it shouldn’t be a cream soup because it contains fats and calories.
- Aside from hot soups, you can also try eating chili-laced appetizers before meals. It has appetite suppressant activity that makes you eat less during meals.
- City people weigh less because of “walking”. It helps when you walk for a few blocks just to grab your lunch or run an errand. If you don’t live or work in a city, you can still do it by parking your car a few blocks away from the drugstore for instance. Try also to use the stairs instead of the elevator. You can burn calories from going up and down the stairs once or twice a day.
- Check your weight regularly. This will help you to control your eating habit when you know that you gain weight every time you step on the scale.
