Justin Bieber Throwing Out the First Pitch in Chicago

Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber was invited to throw the first pitch at the White Sox-Royals game last Monday night. However, this one-kid boy band caught a foul ball off the bat of Chicago slugger Paul Konerko in the third inning.

Here’s what Bieber said on his Facebook:

“Today was epic…I love Chicago. Went to the White Sox game and got to throw out the first pitch…but the cool part was I caught a foul ball. NO LIE. gave it to a fan. Had a lot of fun. OPRAH TOMORROW!!” (more…)

Edwin Valero is Manny Pacquiao’s New Opponent

edwin-valeroAccording to coach Freddie Roach, if things still don’t work out with Floyd Mayweather Jr., he would pick undefeated Edwin Valero to be Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent.

Roach said that he know Valero for being a big puncher, a southpaw and does pose some difficulties. For Roach, the Venezuelan boxer is more feasible than Antonio Margarito of Mexico and also the best marketable fight out there for them. (more…)

The Event: Manny Pacquiao is Ready for Joshua Clottey

pacquiao_vs_clottey_posterSteve Forbes, Manny’s sparring partners, said that Pacquiao can finish Joshua Clottey in nine rounds at the Cowboys Stadium this coming Sunday, the same prediction coach Freddie Roach made the other day. He also said that Manny Pacquiao has the skill and technique.

According to Forbes, Pacquiao’s punches have too many angles, too much speedĀ  and with good placement of shots. Clottey will be overwhelmed with his speed and punching power.

The Pacquiao vs Clottey “The Event” will be on March 13, Saturday (March 14, Sunday in the Philippines) at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Texas. Tickets for the fight range from $700 at ringside down to $50 and selling 40,000 up to 60,000 seats.
